About the role
Our client is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join their product team and own design for one of their product areas. Working closely with a Product Manager and Engineering Lead, you’ll use your UX, UI and research skills across the full design process from discovery through to final, production-ready UI.
What you’ll do
* Work within one, or more, multidisciplinary teams, helping shape the direction of your product area and delivering well-defined solutions to complex design challenges

* Own the end-to-end design process within your team, from initial discovery through to final UI

* Work closely with engineers to ensure smooth hand-off and quality of agreed design solutions

* Run discovery and research activities to uncover opportunities and shape product requirements

* Communicate clearly and confidently, presenting evidence-backed solutions to senior stakeholders and colleagues across the business

What we’re looking for
* 4+ years’ experience in product design or an adjacent role

* Comfortable in a small, fast-moving team, juggling priorities and pivoting when needed

* A strong portfolio that demonstrates your design experience, skills, thinking and approach

* Strong UX and UI skills, including prototyping, Figma and working within a design system using mobile first approach

* Ability to work within constraints and align with business needs

* Proven skills in data, analytics, user testing and other research methods to evidence design decisions

* You can work with in a team but are also independent, unblocking your own problems, balancing your workload, and prioritising based on business value

Preferred, a bonus, not a requirement
* Mobile app design (iOS and Android)

* Accessibility knowledge (WCAG 2.1 AA)

* Property, fintech, or marketplace experience
