We’re recruiting 10 Production Planners for a high-profile programme, working on-site only across Aldermaston and Burghfield (no remote working). Active DV Clearance is required.

*Role: Production Planner (x10)

*Location: Aldermaston & Burghfield - full time on-site attendance required

*Contract:18 months

*Engagement:Inside IR35

*Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience.

*Systems:SAP plus strong understanding of ERP / MRP2



Key responsibilities


*Create and maintain Rough Cut Capacity Planning models.

*Develop and detail methods of manufacture in line with tasking, balancing time, cost and quality.

*Keep the local MRP system accurate and up to date.

*Plan and release customer requirements to Manufacturing/Operations within required timescales.

*Produce manufacturing cost estimates and challenge operational times where appropriate.

*Ensure compliance with inventory control processes.

*Apply Lean Planning and Production Control tools (visual management, Kanban, push/pull).

*Bring proven experience from an operational, production, and/or supply chain environment.
