Full job descriptionA fantastic and rare opportunity for a fully qualified Accountant to join a small, very well established team. My client is seeking a hands on Accountant who is looking for longevity in a top to bottom role
Duties will include:
*Supervise a small team
*Preparation of monthly management accounts.
*Year end accounts preparation and liaison with external auditors.
*Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of the general ledger.
*Review and submission of VAT returns.
*Cash flow forecasting and treasury management.
*Budgeting and forecasting activities.
*Supervising transactional finance processes including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
*Payroll oversight and reconciliation.
*Producing financial reports and analysis for senior management.
*Monitoring financial controls and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
*Assisting with process improvements and system enhancements.
*Supporting the business with ad hoc financial projects and commercial analysis.
*Liaising with stakeholders across the business to provide financial support and insight.
*Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring all deadlines are met.
The successful candidate will be:
*Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
*Experienced in managing the full accounting function.
*Comfortable working in a small business environment.
*Proactive, hands-on and willing to support across all areas of finance.
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
*A confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
