Full job descriptionHW Finance are recruiting for an Interim FP&A Specialist to join a business in Leeds City Centre for a short-term interim assignment. This is a highly analytical role, offering the opportunity to make an immediate impact through financial modelling, data-driven insights, and process improvement initiatives.


Offered hybrid working, you will join the business for a period of 6-8 weeks with the expectations to make an immediate impact, with a salary equivalent of £65,000 - £75,000, although a day-rate route may be considered for the right individual.


Key responsibilities will include:


*Developing, maintaining, and enhancing financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making.
*Analysing large, complex data sets from multiple sources to deliver meaningful commercial insights.
*Producing detailed financial and operational reporting for key stakeholders.
*Supporting scenario analysis, trend analysis, and business performance evaluation.
*Reconciling high volumes of financial and operational data, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
*Identifying opportunities to improve reporting processes, modelling capability, and data utilisation.
*Responding to ad hoc analytical requests from senior stakeholders and operational leadership teams.
*Working closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic and operational decision-making.


We’re looking for someone with advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, experience working with high volumes of data, and the ability to turn complex information into clear, actionable insights. Previous FP&A, financial modelling, or commercially focused finance experience will be highly advantageous.
