We are seeking a dedicated Media Studies Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis for 4-6 weeks starting from the 1st of November. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about media studies and eager to inspire students.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences in media studies.
*Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
*Facilitate learning by establishing a relationship with students and organising learning resources and the classroom environment.
*Assess and record students’ progress and provide grades and feedback.
*Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.
*Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*Degree in Media Studies or a related subject.
*Proven experience as a Media Studies Teacher.
*Strong knowledge of the current curriculum.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
*Good organisational and time-management skills.
*Energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for teaching.
