The Role
As a Cover Teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging lessons across a range of subjects using work set by the school.
*Create a positive learning environment that supports student achievement.
*Manage classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
*Adapt confidently to different schools, year groups and classroom settings.
*Ensure continuity of learning during teacher absences.
Planning and marking requirements will vary depending on the assignment, with many day-to-day bookings involving minimal preparation.

What We’re Looking For
We’re keen to hear from candidates who have:
*Previous experience teaching or working within schools.
*QTS, PGCE, ECT status, or significant classroom teaching experience.
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
*Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
*A flexible, professional and proactive approach.
*An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
