Geography Teacher Medway Academy Start Date: 23rd November Duration: 6-12 Weeks Competitive Daily Rate
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive Academy in the Medway area from 23rd November. This is a full-time teaching position providing full classroom cover for a period of approximately 6-12 weeks.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Geography lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 and A Level, planning and assessing work where required, and maintaining high standards of teaching and learning throughout the placement.
The Role:
*Full-time Geography teaching position
*Teaching Geography from KS3 through to A Level
*Planning, preparation and marking responsibilities included
*Maintaining excellent classroom management and student engagement
*Working within a supportive and well-established Humanities department
The Ideal Candidate Will:
*Hold QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
*Have experience teaching Geography up to A Level
*Be passionate about their subject and committed to achieving positive outcomes for students
*Possess strong classroom management skills
*Be available to start on 23rd November and commit to the duration of the assignment
