Full job descriptionWe are recruiting for a Senior Claims Specialist – Credit & Political Risk on behalf of a leading London Market Insurer.
The role focuses on structured credit claims with some political risk claims but you will also handle other specialty lines of business.
Key Responsibilities
*Handling Credit & Political Risk claims via referral and directly.
*Ensuring the best outcomes for clients and the business are achieved consistently.
*Assisting the Claims Manager and deputising when required.
*Delivering a first-class claims experience to clients, brokers and internal stakeholders.
*Acting as a key subject matter expert and technical referral point providing specialist knowledge as required with regard to all relevant classes of business.
Key Requirements
*Significant experience in within Credit & Political Risk claims, or from a relevant legal or adjusting background.
*Up to date understanding of the technical/legal requirements of the role, including knowledge of banks’ business and debt restructuring.
*Experience of working on claims for Financial Institutions/lender.
*Degree/ACII or similar professional qualification (desirable).
