Are you an experienced Residential Conveyancer, Conveyancing Fee Earner, Property Solicitor or Legal Executive looking for a new opportunity with an established law firm in Devon?
A respected law firm based in Axminster is seeking an experienced Senior Residential Conveyancer to join its established Residential Property department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer to take responsibility for a varied caseload while developing their career within a supportive and forward-thinking legal team.
You will have the opportunity to work with a high degree of autonomy, managing residential property transactions from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion.

The Role
As a Senior Residential Conveyancer, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload of residential property matters, providing clients with a high-quality and professional service throughout each transaction.
Your day-to-day work will include:
*Handling freehold and leasehold property sales and purchases
*Managing residential remortgage transactions
*Dealing with transfers of equity
*Acting on shared ownership transactions
*Managing a range of leasehold conveyancing matters
*Progressing files from initial instruction through to completion and post-completion
*Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and other relevant parties
*Providing support and guidance to less experienced members of the team where required
This position does not involve new-build conveyancing.
You will work closely with an experienced Director and established support team, giving you the independence to manage your own files alongside the benefit of a collaborative working environment.
About You
We are keen to hear from experienced residential property professionals who are confident managing their own caseload.
You may be a:
*Residential Conveyancing Solicitor with 3+ years’ PQE
*Legal Executive/CILEX Lawyer with 3+ years’ residential property experience
*Qualified Conveyancer with a strong residential property background
*Conveyancing Fee Earner with at least 3 years’ experience running their own caseload
*Experienced Property Lawyer looking for a senior-level opportunity
Experience of supervising, mentoring or supporting junior colleagues would be beneficial, although this is not essential.
Most importantly, you should be confident handling a varied residential conveyancing caseload independently and delivering a high standard of client service.
