Full job descriptionFinancial Accountant – (1–2 Month Contract)
A leading, multi-award-winning Entertainment Group is seeking a technically strong, qualified accountant for a 1–2 month contract. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will help finalise year-end accounts, support completion of the audit and assist with statutory filings across the Group.
Operating across the UK and US, the business offers a friendly, collaborative finance team within a fast-paced, creative environment.
This is an office-based role.
Key Responsibilities
*Finalise Group consolidations and year-end statutory accounts using CaseWare.
*Liaise with external auditors, resolve outstanding queries and support audit completion.
*Assist with statutory filings and associated tax workings.
*Review year-end journals, accruals and balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
Candidate Requirements
*Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent, having trained and qualified in practice.
*Strong audit background and relevant financial accounting experience.
*Hands-on CaseWare experience is essential.
*Strong knowledge of Group consolidations, statutory reporting and UK audit and filing requirements.
*Organised, proactive and confident working independently to tight deadlines.
*Strong Excel and communication skills.
*Media or Entertainment experience would be advantageous.
