The Company
Our client is a well-established food manufacturing business supplying high-quality products to customers across the UK. Due to increased production demands, they are looking for a Quality Assurance Operative to join their team on a temporary basis.
The Role
This is a hands-on QA role within a fast-paced food production environment. You will be responsible for ensuring products meet company quality standards, carrying out routine checks, and supporting food safety compliance across the site.
Key Responsibilities
*Carry out quality checks throughout the production process
*Complete QA paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
*Monitor product quality, weight, labelling and packaging standards
*Conduct hygiene and GMP audits across production areas
*Support food safety and quality compliance procedures
*Assist with investigations into non-conformances and corrective actions
*Ensure products meet customer and company specifications
*Work closely with Production and Warehouse teams to maintain standards
*Support site compliance with HACCP procedures
*Escalate quality concerns to management when required
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience within a QA, Quality, Technical or Food Production role
*Experience working in a food manufacturing environment
*Good understanding of GMP, hygiene and food safety standards
*Knowledge of HACCP principles would be advantageous
*Strong attention to detail
*Ability to complete paperwork accurately
*Good communication skills and a proactive approach
*Available to start at short notice
