I am recruiting for a welcoming, family-run pub looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Assistant Pub Manager to join their friendly team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant venue that serves quality food and drinks, and hosts regular events including quizzes and community gatherings. This pub has a local reputation and is looking for a person who will strive to take the pub forward.
The Role
As Assistant Pub Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the pub, ensuring excellent customer service and a warm, inviting atmosphere for all guests.
Key Responsibilities
*Support the Pub Manager in the smooth operation of the business
*Deliver outstanding customer service and lead by example
*Help manage staff, including training and rota planning
*Oversee food and drink service to ensure high standards
*Assist with stock control, ordering, and cash handling
*Support the organisation of events such as quiz nights and special functions
*Step up to manage the pub in the absence of the Manager
About You
*Previous experience in hospitality or pub management
*Passionate about customer service and creating great experiences
*Positive, energetic, and a strong team player
*Well organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
*Flexible and willing to work evenings and weekends
