The Opportunity
A respected and growing accountancy practice in Chelmsford is seeking an experienced Tax Senior to join its established and supportive tax team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to further develop their career within a forward-thinking firm that offers genuine progression opportunities, a varied client portfolio, and exposure to both compliance and advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing a portfolio of personal tax and/or corporate tax clients
*Preparing and reviewing self-assessment tax returns
*Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
*Assisting clients with tax planning and advisory matters
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships
*Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients
*Identifying tax-saving opportunities and providing proactive advice
*Supporting managers and partners on complex tax assignments
*Assisting with the training and development of junior team members
About You
*ATT, CTA, ACA, or ACCA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
*Previous tax experience gained within an accountancy practice
*Strong technical knowledge of personal tax, corporate tax, or mixed tax
*Excellent communication and client-facing skills
*Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
*A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
