Full job descriptionRole: Interim Financial Accountant 6 Month-FTC
A growing and fast-paced business is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Support professional to join its finance team on an initial six-month contract. Working closely with the Head of Finance, you’ll play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring strong financial controls across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Daily bank reconciliations and cash allocation
*Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end journals
*Supporting management accounts preparation
*Analysis of high-volume transactional data
*Managing third-party recharge processes
*Assisting with sales and purchase ledger activities
*Supporting continuous improvement of finance processes and controls
About You:
*Previous experience using Sage 200 is essential
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
*Experienced in reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and month-end processes
*Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with large datasets
*ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience
*Background in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, or a similar finance role
