The Opportunity
An established and growing accountancy practice in Chelmsford is seeking an ambitious Accounts Semi Senior to join its friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities
*Preparing year-end statutory accounts for a range of SME clients
*Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
*Completing VAT returns and bookkeeping assignments
*Supporting senior team members with client portfolio management
*Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
*Assisting with corporation tax computations and returns
*Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and within deadlines
About You
*Previous experience working within an accountancy practice
*AAT qualified or currently studying AAT, ACA, or ACCA
*Experience preparing accounts for a variety of clients
*Working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar
*Strong communication and organisational skills
*Eager to learn and progress within a supportive environment
