You’ll take responsibility for a regional Service Charge function, combining technical expertise, people leadership, financial control and continuous improvement.

*Leading, coaching and developing the Service Charge team
*Overseeing annual service charge estimates and year-end statements
*Supporting the annual accountant certification and audit process
*Maintaining strong financial controls, reconciliations and service charge ledgers
*Monitoring performance against budgets
*Working closely with Finance, Rents and wider operational teams
*Driving improvements to systems, controls and processes
*Leading service charge projects and continuous improvement initiatives
*Ensuring service charges support affordability and value for money for residents
Profile
Ideally, you’ll have:
*Experience within service charge finance, ideally gained in social housing
*Knowledge of service charge and rent legislation
*Understanding of the social housing regulatory framework
*Experience leading and developing a team as an experienced team leader or a capable manager
*Strong financial and analytical skills
*Confidence working with large and complex datasets
*Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups
*Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
*The ability to identify opportunities for process improvement
Job Offer
*Salary ranging from £58,689 to £69,437, dependent on the level of experience.
*Hybrid working - 1/2 days a week
