About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable Care Assistant to join a supportive care team in Shrewsbury. You will help people with their daily living, supporting them to stay comfortable, independent and dignified in their own home or within a residential setting.
No previous care experience is needed. Full training is given, and you will be supported by experienced colleagues from your first day. What matters most is a caring attitude, reliability and a genuine willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities*Supporting people with personal care, meals, medication prompts and daily routines
*Helping people to stay independent and involved in their own care
*Building warm, trusting relationships with the people you support and their families
*Keeping accurate, respectful care records
*Working closely with senior carers, nurses and other professionals
*Following care plans and raising any concerns promptly

*Care records are accurate and up to date
*You are a reliable, valued member of the team
Person Specification*A caring, patient and dependable nature
*Good communication skills and a friendly manner
*Willingness to work towards a Care Certificate and further qualifications
*Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including some weekends
*Previous care experience is welcome but not essential
