The Finance Manager position would suit someone who is a Management Accountant looking to step into a Managerial position or a current Finance Manager looking for a new challenge.
This is a five days on site opportunity in Derby.
Description
*Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
*Oversee budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
*Monitor and manage cash flow effectively.
*Support the dealership team with financial insights and advice.
*Manage payroll processing and employee expenses.
*Work closely with external auditors during audits.
*Analyse financial data to identify trends and support decision-making.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
*Professional accounting qualifications or equivalent experience in accounting and finance.
*Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
*Experience in managing financial reporting and analysis within a commercial setting.
*Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Good communication skills to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
*Proficiency in financial software and tools.
*A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
