Full job descriptionA widely respected Lloyd’s Syndicate have an opening for a Senior Claims Adjuster within their Marine claims team. The role will involve handling a broad portfolio of Marine Cargo, Marine Liability, Energy Liability, Specie and Ports & Terminals claims, both on a lead and follow basis. The individual will be expected to provide technical leadership within the Marine Claims team, support underwriting strategy through claims insight, and contribute to the ongoing development of claims processes and claims governance.

Other duties will include leading the management of lawyers, surveyors, loss adjusters and other specialist service providers and ensuring compliance with Lloyd’s standards and all relevant regulatory requirements.

Applicants will require prior Marine Cargo claims handling experience and ideally have some exposure to Marine/Energy Liability claims too. An understanding of ECF would be advantageous. This will be a hybrid role.
