Description
*Prepare and manage monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timelines.
*Monitor budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and providing recommendations.
*Support the preparation of financial reports and analysis for senior management.
*Manage cash flow and oversee financial controls within the organisation.
*Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting processes and systems.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
*Assist in year-end audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
*Provide financial insight to help drive business decisions and strategy.
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
*Professional qualifications in accounting or finance, such as ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
*Experience with international accounting.
*Proven experience in preparing management accounts and financial reports.
*Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
*Familiarity with accounting software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
*Attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities.
*Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in the UK.
*Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary of £45,000 to £55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
*Permanent role in Sutton-in-Ashfield.
