Monday to Friday | 7am - 4pm
Are you a natural leader who enjoys being hands-on, supporting a team, and keeping a busy branch running smoothly?
We’re working with a well-established business that is looking for an experienced Branch Manager to take ownership of their Basildon site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, close-knit team where your input will be valued, your achievements recognised, and where you’ll play a key role in the continued success of the branch.
This position would suit someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is equally comfortable supporting staff, building customer relationships, and overseeing day-to-day operations.
The Role
*Manage the daily activities of the branch, ensuring everything runs efficiently.
*Lead, motivate and support a small team.
*Build strong relationships with customers and maintain high service levels.
*Oversee stock control and general branch administration.
*Identify opportunities to improve processes and drive branch performance.
*Recruit, train and develop employees when required.
*Ensure health and safety procedures are followed throughout the branch.
*Work closely with senior management to help achieve business objectives.
*Responsibility for branch P&L, budgeting and forecasting.
*Commercially focused with the ability to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
*Support marketing and business development initiatives to increase sales and market presence.
*Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
*Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, growth and operational efficiency.

About You
*Previous experience managing a branch, depot, warehouse, trade counter or similar environment.
*Strong leadership and people management skills.
*A proactive and hands-on approach to work.
*Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
*Good commercial awareness and problem-solving skills.
*Confident using Microsoft Office and business systems.
