Full job descriptionWe’re currently recruiting for a School Cleaner to join a school in Lancaster on a part-time basis, with an immediate start available.


Location: Lancaster

Hours: 2:30pm - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday

Start Date: ASAP

The Role

You will be responsible for helping to maintain a clean, safe and hygienic school environment, including:
*Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas
*Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
*Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
*Dusting, vacuuming and mopping floors
*Following school health and safety procedures
Requirements
*Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
*Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently
*An Enhanced DBS with Children’s Barred List check is required
DBS Information - PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING!

If you do not currently hold the required DBS, Reed can arrange this for you. The initial cost is £41, which will be refunded once you have worked the equivalent of 21 days through Reed and have added your DBS certificate to the online Update Service.

The DBS obtained via Reed will be fully transferrable, and can be used anywhere.
