They’re seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer to build and scale the core services powering their AI platform.
Responsibilities
*Design and develop scalable backend services using Golang and Python.
*Build and optimise APIs, databases and large-scale data pipelines.
*Develop reliable distributed systems handling significant traffic and data volumes.
*Improve performance, scalability, observability and infrastructure efficiency.
*Own features end to end, collaborating with ML, frontend and infrastructure engineers.
Requirements
*Strong backend engineering experience, ideally Go or Python (other languages considered).
*Experience building scalable APIs, databases and distributed systems.
*Cloud experience, ideally AWS; Kubernetes, Pulumi or Grafana advantageous.
*Experience developing production systems at scale.
*Ideally a startup, scale-up or high-growth technology background.
*Strong technical ownership, problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience: 4-5+ years as a guide, with ability valued over tenure.
