The Role
As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for delivering a broad range of accounting services while acting as a trusted point of contact for clients. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, compliance, and commercially valuable advice.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Preparing and reviewing year-end accounts for a diverse client portfolio
*Supporting the delivery of financial reporting and management information
*Completing tax-related work and ensuring deadlines are consistently achieved
*Managing client queries and building strong professional relationships
*Reviewing financial records and identifying areas for improvement
*Assisting with process improvements to enhance service delivery
*Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team where required
*Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business
About You
The successful candidate will ideally bring experience from a professional services or client-focused finance background, with the confidence to manage workloads independently and communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
You will ideally have:
*Previous experience operating at Senior Accountant level or within a similar position
*Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail
*Experience preparing accounts and supporting compliance requirements
*Excellent communication skills with a client-focused approach
*The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
*A proactive mindset with a willingness to contribute ideas and improvements

Experience working with businesses within the healthcare industry would be advantageous, although candidates with strong transferable experience will also be considered.
