Full job description Birmingham Temporary Contract Starting Soon Social Housing

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Drainage Operative / Groundworker to join a Housing Association, working across properties in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
This is a temporary position starting soon and would suit someone with a strong background in drainage and groundworks who is confident carrying out both blockage removals and drainage repairs.

Duties will include:
*Carrying out drainage repairs and maintenance
*Using high-pressure jetting equipment to clear blockages
*Investigating and resolving drainage issues
*Excavating and repairing damaged drainage and pipework
*Replacing drainage runs where required
*General groundworks associated with drainage repairs
*Working safely in and around occupied residential properties

The ideal candidate:
*Previous experience within drainage / groundworks
*Previous experience using drain jetting equipment is essential
*Confident carrying out drainage and pipe repairs
*Previous social housing or responsive repairs experience would be advantageous
*Full UK driving licence
*Reliable, professional and comfortable working around tenants
