Full job descriptionAre you an experienced Credit Controller who enjoys building strong customer relationships while delivering outstanding results?

The Role
*You will take ownership of debt collection activity, helping to reduce aged debt while maintaining positive, professional customer relationships.
*You will manage sales ledger processes, resolve account queries, and ensure invoices, statements and credit control correspondence are issued accurately and on time.
*Working closely with customers and internal stakeholders, you will negotiate payment arrangements, conduct credit checks, monitor credit risk, reconcile banking transactions and unallocated cash, and support month-end reporting and cash-flow forecasting.
*You will also help strengthen Accounts Receivable performance by maintaining accurate finance and CRM data, supporting legal recovery where appropriate, and identifying opportunities to improve processes.
*Experience of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central would be particularly useful.
Key Competencies
Previous credit control experience within a complex organisation, strong debt recovery and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential.
Candidates should be confident communicators with excellent relationship-building, IT and Excel skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive, customer-focused approach to improving cash collection performance.
Desirable Experience
*Credit control within a large or complex organisation
*Knowledge of debt recovery processes and intercompany transactions
*Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
