Working across a diverse range of commercial or industrial environments, you’ll be involved in everything from fault-finding and reactive maintenance through to installations, commissioning and specialist refrigeration projects
Key Responsibilities
*Install, service, maintain and repair commercial refrigeration systems.
*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
*Respond to reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs.
*Diagnose faults and identify effective and efficient solutions.
*Complete refrigeration installations and commissioning activities where required.
*Work on a range of commercial refrigeration equipment and systems.
*Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally and in accordance with relevant industry standards.
*Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
*Communicate professionally with customers, colleagues and other site personnel.
*Represent the company positively while working on customer sites.
*Work independently while contributing effectively as part of the wider engineering team.
*Maintain and develop technical knowledge as new technologies, systems and refrigerants are introduced.
Beneficial Skills / Qualifications:
*Proven experience working as a Commercial Refrigeration Engineer.
*Relevant refrigeration / RACHP qualifications.
*Current F-Gas certification.
*Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
*Practical experience working on commercial refrigeration systems.
*Full UK driving licence.
*Professional approach to customers and colleagues.
*Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
*Strong commitment to health, safety and quality.
*Good communication and customer service skills.
