Full job descriptionKenneth Brian Associates are recruiting for a Head of Procurement on behalf of a well-established and growing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced procurement professional to lead a team, manage strategic supplier relationships and drive procurement strategy across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
*Leading and developing the Procurement team, ensuring effective performance and processes.
*Developing and implementing procurement and supply planning strategies.
*Managing key supplier relationships, negotiations and contracts.
*Overseeing inventory management, stock availability and supply chain risks.
*Identifying cost-saving opportunities and improving procurement processes.
*Working closely with senior management and internal teams to support business growth.
Skills & Experience:
*Significant experience in senior procurement, purchasing or supply chain management.
*Proven experience leading and developing a procurement team.
*Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and supplier management skills.
*Experience managing international suppliers and complex supply chains.
*Excellent leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Strong Excel skills and experience using ERP or procurement systems.
*Experience within FMCG or international supply chains would be advantageous.
