This is a pivotal leadership role which involves managing financial planning, reporting and compliance, maximising stock control while driving business performance and supporting the MD and Exec board on key strategic decision-making.

Description
*Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with its goals.
*Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory financial reporting requirements.
*Oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
*Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
*Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company’s assets.
*Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
*Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors and financial institutions.
*Monitor and improve financial performance across the business.
*Oversee a major systems implementation project
Profile
A successful Finance Director should have:
*A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
*Strong experience of making robust decisions based on data
*Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Strong knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements.
*Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Job Offer
*Salary ranging from £135,000 to £140,000, dependent on the level of experience.
