*Duration: Initial 2-Week Temporary Assignment
*Start Date: Immediate
*Hours: 09.00- 17.00 (35 hours)
*Hourly Rate: £16.48 per hour PAYE or £20.92 per hour via an umbrella company
We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join a small finance team in Sutton on an immediate basis for an initial two-week assignment. This role is crucial for managing the sales ledger, chasing outstanding debt, and updating accounts during a period of team absence due to sickness.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Chasing outstanding customer debt via telephone and email.
*Managing and reviewing aged debtor reports.
*Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers.
*Resolving invoice and payment queries.
*Ensuring accurate records of collection activity are maintained.
*Allocating customer payments where required.
*Liaising with internal teams to resolve account discrepancies.
*Assisting with bringing the sales ledger up to date.
*Supporting the finance team with ad hoc credit control duties.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Previous experience in a Credit Control role.
*Strong communication and negotiation skills.
*Confidence in speaking with customers over the phone.
*Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively.
*Good attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
*Available to start immediately.
