Full job descriptionWe are recruiting an experienced senior leader to join a medium sized SEN school in Peterborough, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs.
The school is within its Ofsted inspection window and is seeking additional leadership capacity to support the existing senior leadership team, maintain standards and drive forward school priorities.


The role
*Provide additional capacity and practical support to the senior leadership team.
*Support day to day school leadership and operational priorities.
*Work with staff to improve teaching, learning and provision for pupils with SEN.
*Support inspection readiness, including reviewing evidence and progress against improvement priorities.
*Promote high expectations and a positive, inclusive school culture.
The ideal candidate
*An experienced Headteacher, Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher or senior leader.
*A strong track record within a special school or SEN setting.
*Experience supporting pupils with a broad range of SEN needs.
*A sound understanding of Ofsted expectations and school improvement.
*The ability to establish effective relationships quickly and contribute confidently from the outset.
*Availability to start ASAP and commit until Christmas.
