Full job descriptionGroup Consolidation Analyst - King’s Cross, London (office-based Monday to Thursday) - £60,000 - £65,000 + bonus + pension, life and medical cover
Newly qualified ACA (or ACCA) looking for your first move out of audit? This is a chance to move from auditing group accounts to preparing them, in a business big enough to give you real breadth and growing fast enough to give you real influence.
Our client is a global manufacturer with operations across several continents. It is building out its Group Finance function at its London HQ.
The role:
Reporting to the Group Consolidation Manager, your time will be split roughly 50:50 between:
Consolidation and intercompany:
*Monthly, quarterly and annual consolidation of 20+ entities in multiple currencies under IFRS, on a 10-12 day close
*Intercompany reconciliations, eliminations and resolving differences with regional finance teams
Statutory, tax and forecasting:
*UK statutory accounts, plus support on other Group entities
*Accounting for the Group’s holding and corporate entities
*Supporting the Global Tax team and Group forecasting (EBITDA and cash flow)
*Audit support and input into Board and management reporting
You’ll also get genuine exposure to M&A and Group financing activity, and you’ll be expected to question how things are done and suggest better ways of doing them.
What you’ll need:
*ACA qualified (ACCA or CIMA considered), ideally within the last two years
*Audit experience at a large accountancy firm preferred, ideally including group audits and IFRS clients
*Some exposure to multi-entity, multi-currency reporting
*Confidence to challenge and improve processes
Manufacturing, private equity-backed or other asset-heavy audit clients, or SAP or OneStream experience, would be useful but aren’t essential.
Why apply:
A strong bonus, real M&A exposure, and a finance team that’s still being shaped, so there’s room for an ambitious person to grow with it.
