We are currently recruiting for an experienced Temporary School Chef to work within a friendly school catering team in the Harlow area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and passionate chef seeking daytime hours with a great work-life balance.
Responsibilities:*Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for students and staff
*Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene
*Managing food stock and ensuring minimal waste
*Complying with all food safety and health & safety regulations
*Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and inspection-ready
*Working efficiently as part of a catering team
Requirements:*Previous chef experience within schools, education, or large-volume catering preferred
*Valid Enhanced DBS certificate is essential
*Food Hygiene Certificate
*Ability to work independently and manage a busy service
*Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
*Car drivers preferred due to varying locations and transport links
