Full job descriptionWe are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Client in their established Finance Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced credit control professional to manage a portfolio of customer accounts, build strong relationships and play a key role in maintaining cash flow within a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:*Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and proactively collecting outstanding payments
*Building strong relationships with customers and resolving account queries and disputes
*Reconciling accounts, investigating discrepancies and managing cash allocation
*Issuing invoices, statements, payment reminders and other account documentation
*Monitoring aged debt reports and following up on overdue accounts
*Conducting regular reviews of outstanding debt and providing updates on collection performance
*Working closely with internal departments to resolve queries and improve collection processes
*Supporting the achievement of cash collection targets and credit control KPIs
What We’re Looking For:*At least one year’s recent experience in a Credit Control role
*Experience working in a fast-paced finance environment
*Strong account reconciliation, cash allocation and query resolution skills
*Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building abilities
*A proactive and self-motivated approach
*Confidence managing your own workload and handling challenging conversations
*Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
