Full job descriptionA growing healthcare organisation is seeking a talented Management Accountant to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to take ownership of management reporting, partner with operational stakeholders, and contribute to the continued growth of a dynamic business.
Working closely with the Finance Manager and wider leadership team, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial information, supporting decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across finance processes.
Responsibilities
*Take ownership of the month-end close and management reporting cycle, including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Produce timely management accounts, forecasts, variance analysis and insightful financial commentary.
*Partner with department heads to provide financial analysis, challenge assumptions and support operational decision-making.
*Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes across the business.
*Support the Finance Manager with financial reporting and strategic finance activities.
*Drive process improvements, standardisation and automation within the finance function.
Requirements*Part-qualified ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional finance qualification
*Previous experience with Management Accountant in a Private Healthcare organisation
*Strong month-end accounting and balance sheet reconciliation experience
*Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems
*Good communication skills with confidence to liaise effectively with stakeholders
