The role


As Semi Senior Accountant, you’ll manage a portfolio of personal tax clients and act as a trusted point of contact, delivering accurate, timely and practical advice.


Your responsibilities will include:


*Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
*Preparing and reviewing personal and trust tax returns
*Ensuring HMRC filing and payment deadlines are met
*Providing tax planning advice and identifying tax-saving opportunities
*Liaising with HMRC on client enquiries and compliance matters
*Supporting clients with tax investigations and enquiries
*Assisting managers with complex tax advisory projects
*Monitoring changes in tax legislation and sharing relevant updates
*Building and maintaining strong, long-term client relationships


About you


You’ll have at least two years’ experience preparing tax returns and be confident communicating with both clients and colleagues.


We’re looking for someone who is:

*Confident communicating complex information clearly
*Proactive, approachable and committed to excellent client service


Formal qualifications are not essential, although ACCA, ACA or ATT part-qualified candidates are particularly welcome.


What we offer


*£30,000–£40,000 salary, depending on experience
*Hybrid working options
*Flexible working hours
*37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
*Core hours of 10:00 am–4:00 pm
