SENIOR CREDIT RISK STRATEGY ANALYST
£60,000-£75,000
LONDON


This is an opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading digital banking businesses, working within a highly regarded credit risk team that has built a reputation for developing some of the strongest talent in the consumer lending market. You’ll take ownership of credit strategy across a lending product, using analytics to drive both risk and commercial performance in a fast-growing environment.

THE ROLE


*Take ownership of credit risk and commercial strategy for a specific lending product
*Analyse portfolio performance and identify opportunities to improve business outcomes
*Develop and optimise lending strategies using customer and portfolio data
*Use SQL and Python to deliver insights and support strategic decision-making
*Monitor credit performance and recommend data-driven policy changes
*Work closely with stakeholders across analytics, product, data science, and technology teams
*Contribute to the development and implementation of new credit strategies and decisioning frameworks
*Play a key role in balancing growth, profitability, and customer outcomes


YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
*Strong commercial experience within credit risk strategy or credit risk analytics
*Experience working within consumer lending environments
*Advanced SQL skills
*Python experience is highly desirable
*Experience developing or managing credit risk strategies and lending policies
*Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate analysis into commercial recommendations
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Experience working with large datasets and delivering actionable insights


SALARY AND BENEFITS
*£60,000- £75,000 base salary
