Your Role as a Public Sector Procurement Solicitor
You will advise a range of public sector clients on significant projects and provide specialist legal advice across areas including:
*Public sector procurement law and regulations
*Procurement strategy and processes
*Commercial contract drafting and negotiation
*Contract management
*Grant funding
*Subsidy control
*Local authority powers, duties and responsibilities
*Non-contentious public sector and commercial legal matters
You will have the opportunity to work on high-profile public sector projects nationwide, developing your technical expertise while working closely with experienced lawyers and clients.
What We’re Looking For
We are keen to hear from candidates who have:
*Qualification as a Solicitor or Legal Executive
*3+ years’ experience advising public sector clients or working within a public sector organisation
*Experience of commercial contracts
*Knowledge and practical experience of public procurement law
*Understanding of subsidy control
*Strong communication and client management skills
*A genuine interest in developing a career within public sector procurement and commercial law
Experience within a local authority, government body, public sector organisation or specialist public sector legal team would be particularly relevant.
