Full job descriptionREED Accountancy are exclusively working in partnership with a Well known, Not for profit charity based in Salisbury recruiting a TEMP (potential for TEMP to PERM) Part Time - 21 hours per week Finance Officer.
This is a stand alone position, reporting into the CEO, responsible for the charities financial administration joining a small collaborative team. Please see below
Finance Officer - Salisbury - TEMP (Potential to go TEMP to PERM)
21 hours per week (Flexible in hours, can be worked Monday - Friday set days or even across the weekend) - onsite
TEMP Rate: £15.00 - £19.00 per hour Umbrella rate
Parking on site available in central Salisbury
Duties:
*Reconciling and banking weekly takings; identifying and resolving discrepancies - keeping things ticking over
*Raising sales invoices and maintaining credit control as appropriate.
*Processing purchase invoices and ensuring they are paid to terms.
*Monthly reconciliations of petty cash, nominal accounts, bank accounts and restricted & designated funds.
*Processing monthly payroll including PAYE, pension and NI payments, Auto Enrolment, RTI and annual HMRC payroll returns.
ESSENTIAL
*Experienced using XERO for accounts
*Preferable - experience with Gift Aid and Quarterly VAT returns / Charity experience
