Full job descriptionWe are currently looking to recruit kitchen assistants for temporary work in the Thatcham area. To qualify for this role, you will require 2 months experience working in a commercial kitchen and ideally have a good understanding of food hygiene, COSHH and health & safety legislation. However, training will be given .The client is in quite a rural location, so use of a car would be preferable, but public transport is available.
Job description
*Food preparation: You will be responsible for washing, peeling and preparing vegetables or meat or poultry.
*Hygiene: Keeping surfaces clean and tidy, ensuring all work stations and floors are keep sanitized. Ensuring all pots and kitchen equipment and utensils are washed thoroughly, following health & safety protocols at all times.
*Waste & safety: Remove waste properly, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and replace kitchen towels.
