An Accounts Payable Manager will be hired for a period of 12 months. Out client is looking for someone who is available quickly and they would be willing to consider a career interim or candidates willing to consider a transition to permanent employment. Hybrid working.

General Areas of Responsibility:
*Ensure the accounts payable is operated accurately, efficiently and to agreed timescales and oversee the process from input to payment.
*Perform month end duties and ad hoc reporting requirements
*Support with a systems change and user testing
*Manage a team of 6 with day to day and management throughout the change and transformation
*Training and mentoring of staff/team
*Checking payment runs

About You
*You will be an expert in Accounts Payable
*Proven track record within a mainstream accounts payable function and preferably have experience in a similar Accounts Payable Manager role.
*Positive attitude to problem solving as well as forward thinking
*Strong IT skills including using spreadsheets
*Ability to manage and motivate staff
*Ability to liaise with other departments
*Be resilient through times of change and transformation
