Job Description:
Full job descriptionSupport just 2 advisers.
Work with clients holding average portfolios of around £1 million.
Attend client meetings and become part of the advice process.
For an experienced Paraplanner, that’s not the sort of opportunity that comes around every day.
Many paraplanners are being asked to support larger adviser numbers, manage increasing workloads or navigate constant change.
This role offers something different.
You’ll work closely with a small team of experienced Financial Planners, supporting high net worth clients with complex pensions, investment and tax planning needs.
Rather than producing reports in isolation, you’ll be involved in the wider planning process and have genuine exposure to both advisers and clients.
The business has invested heavily in technology and operational support, allowing paraplanners to focus on technical work rather than administration.
If you’re looking for better quality work rather than simply more work, this is worth exploring.
About the firm
Our client is a well-established wealth management business with a strong reputation for working with high net worth individuals and families.
The environment is professional, collaborative and technically focused, with paraplanners viewed as a key part of the advice process rather than a back-office resource.
The firm places a strong emphasis on development and supports those looking to continue progressing their technical knowledge and qualifications.
What you’ll do
*Support two Financial Planners across a range of complex financial planning cases
*Produce suitability reports, technical research and recommendations
*Assist with cashflow modelling and retirement planning strategies
*Attend client meetings and contribute to planning discussions
*Work on pensions, investments, tax planning and wider wealth management advice
What you’ll need
*Previous paraplanning experience within financial planning or wealth management
*Ideally Level 4 Diploma qualified
*Strong technical knowledge across pensions and investments
*Experience supporting advisers with suitability reports and financial planning recommendations
Benefits
*Hybrid working
*Discretionary bonus
*Generous holiday allowance
*Additional holiday entitlement with service
*Private medical insurance
*Pension scheme
*Death in service cover
*Income protection
*Full study support and exam funding
*Enhanced family-friendly benefits
If you’re a Paraplanner who wants greater involvement, stronger adviser relationships and the opportunity to work on high-quality financial planning cases, we’d be interested in having a confidential conversation.
