I’m recruiting for an experienced Internal Auditor to join a leading organisation within the banking sector.
Location: London
Duration: 6 months
Level: Assistant Manager / Manager
Contract: Temporary
Day Rate: £400 per day
Key Responsibilities:
*Lead and deliver risk-based internal audits across business and support functions.
*Assess internal controls, governance and risk management frameworks.
*Conduct risk assessments and ongoing control monitoring.
*Prepare audit reports, present findings and recommend improvements.
*Monitor management actions and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
*Support regulatory compliance with FCA/PRA requirements.
*Review co-sourced audit work and support junior team members.


Key Requirements:
*7–10 years’ experience in UK financial services internal audit.
*ACA, ACCA or CIA qualification.
*Strong knowledge of banking, risk management and internal controls.
*Experience leading complex audit engagements.
*Corporate/Wholesale banking experience would be advantageous.
