SENIOR ANALYST
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE/HYBRID
UP TO £70,000


This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Analyst to join a growing, data-driven organisation where analytics sits at the heart of operational decision-making. You’ll work across geospatial analysis, operational reporting, automation, forecasting, and optimisation, helping shape how data is used to improve services, increase efficiency, and support commercial growth.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Senior Analyst will:




*Conduct GIS and geospatial analysis to assess operational performance and programme coverage
*Use ArcGIS and spatial analysis techniques to evaluate survey progress and identify areas requiring attention
*Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and management reporting
*Perform data analysis using Python and SQL to support operational and commercial decisions
*Develop automated reporting solutions and improving existing business processes
*Support route optimisation, workforce planning, and resource forecasting activities
*Analyse programme performance, costs, and commercial opportunities
*Contribute to pricing models, tenders, and business growth initiatives
*Work closely with operational stakeholders to provide actionable insights
*Support the development of predictive analytics and machine learning capabilities
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
*Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
*Commercial experience using Python for data analysis and automation
*Strong SQL and data manipulation skills
*Experience building dashboards and reports in Power BI
*GIS or geospatial analytics experience
*Experience working with ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar mapping technologies
*Experience analysing operational or business performance data
*The ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
*A proactive approach to improving processes and automating manual tasks
