Full job descriptionOwen Daniels are currently recruiting for a Project Coordinator to join a well-established engineering business based in Somerset.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and ambitious individual looking to develop their career within a technical engineering environment.

A clear progression plan into a Project Manager position is already in place, with structured development, training and hands-on experience provided to support the successful candidate’s career progression.

The Role*Supporting Project Managers with the coordination and delivery of engineering projects
*Maintaining project schedules, progress reports, action logs and documentation
*Liaising with internal teams, clients and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
*Organising meetings, recording actions and monitoring project progress
*Identifying potential delays and escalating issues where necessary
*Assisting with project administration, invoicing and financial tracking
*Gradually taking ownership of smaller projects as part of the progression plan into Project Management
What We’re Looking For*Previous experience in Project Coordination, Project Administration or a similar role
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workloads effectively
*A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
*Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous
*A genuine ambition to develop into a Project Manager role
Hours & Benefits
Location: Somerset
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £30’000 - £40’000 DOE
