Buntingford, Hertfordshire – 5 days office based
We’re looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a growing international business based in Buntingford.
You’ll take responsibility for customer invoicing and credit control across UK and international projects, working closely with Commercial, Project and Finance teams.
The Role
*Raise accurate customer invoices in line with contracts, POs and payment schedules.
*Manage UK, overseas and multi-currency invoicing.
*Handle credit control and follow up overdue payments.
*Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing queries.
*Process credit notes and invoice amendments.
*Maintain accurate billing schedules and AR records.
*Support month-end and year-end processes.
*Work closely with Commercial Managers and Project teams to ensure billing information is correct.
*Support improvements to finance processes and the ERP system.
Experience Needed
*At least 3 years’ Accounts Receivable experience within a medium to large organisation.
*Strong experience of customer invoicing and credit control.
*Experience with international and multi-currency invoicing.
*Good understanding of AR processes and financial controls.
*ERP experience – Microsoft Business Central or Navision would be advantageous.
*Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
*Construction industry experience would be useful but is not essential.
