Full job descriptionOwen Daniels are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join a well-established and growing engineering business based in Somerset.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a minimum of 3 years’ Project Management experience looking to further develop their career within a technical engineering environment.
The successful candidate will take ownership of engineering projects, managing schedules, budgets and client relationships while working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams.
The Role*Managing engineering projects from initial planning through to completion
*Taking ownership of project schedules, budgets, costs and deliverables
*Coordinating engineering, manufacturing, supply chain and external stakeholders
*Acting as the main point of contact for clients throughout project delivery
*Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions
*Managing project financials, including forecasting, invoicing and variations
*Leading project meetings and providing regular progress updates
*Supporting Project Coordinators within the team
*Ensuring projects are delivered to the required quality standards and contractual requirements
What We’re Looking For*Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Project Management role
*Experience within an engineering, manufacturing or technical environment would be advantageous
*Good understanding of project planning, budgeting and cost control
*Ability to work with technical drawings, specifications and project documentation
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*Experience managing project risks, schedules and deliverables
*Excellent organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving
*Relevant Project Management qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
