Looking for an exciting new teaching opportunity? A supportive primary school in Newbury is seeking a passionate Year 1 Teacher to join its team on a full-time, temporary basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Year 1 Teacher who enjoys creating exciting learning experiences, encouraging curiosity and helping young pupils build confidence as they progress through their early education.
Your Responsibilities
As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:
*Deliver engaging lessons following the KS1 curriculum.
*Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom.
*Monitor pupil progress and adapt lessons to suit individual needs.
*Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour.
*Support pupils’ academic and personal development.
*Work closely with parents, colleagues and school leaders.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal Year 1 Teacher will have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*Experience teaching at Key Stage 1.
*Strong classroom management and communication skills.
*A creative, flexible and enthusiastic teaching style.
*A commitment to high standards and pupil achievement.
