Full job descriptionMake a Real Difference Every Day We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Adult Residential Care Assistant to join our caring team, supporting elderly residents within a residential care home. This rewarding role involves helping older adults live comfortably, safely, and with dignity while promoting independence and well-being.

** This role is for a Male support worker due to the specific client requirements working with a male resident**

Key Responsibilities*Provide high-quality personal care and emotional support to residents.
*Assist with daily living activities, including washing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
*Support residents with meal preparation and mealtime assistance.
*Administer medication in line with training and company policies.
*Peg feeding
*Encourage participation in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities.
*Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in residents’ health or well being.
*Build positive relationships with residents, families, health care professionals, and colleagues.
*Promote safeguarding, dignity, choice, and respect at all times.
*Support residents with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
What We’re Looking For*A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
*A commitment to providing person-centred care.
*Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential.
*NVQ/QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is advantageous.
*Willingness to undertake training and continuous professional development.
