Full job description Creative Support are looking for a Support Worker to join our friendly staff team in New Waltham, Grimsby, North East Lincolnshire. You will support adults with learning disabilities with their daily lives.
Every day is different here at our service in Grimsby, Lincolnshire. The people we support enjoy going ice skating and dancing at local discos.
Support Worker Duties:
– Providing excellent care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and non-verbal communication requirements.
– Encouraging service users to engage in a range of exciting social activities both within and outside their homes
– Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users and their families enabling them to enjoy their time at the service to the fullest
– Administrating and monitoring prescribed medication to service users.

No Previous Experience Needed
We provide all of your training as you begin your new career in care, including the opportunity to work towards earning your QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. All employees have access to our training system where, through a combination of in person and e-learning courses, you can learn the skills required to develop in your role and progress toward senior roles.
We offer full and part time hours, weekend work and bank holidays. The service has great public transport links.
